Co-op first-week tips

Host should have stable upload bandwidth and run the latest Steam build after hotfix 0.8.10.455 fixed some co-op join failures. Each player needs their own Steam ownership. Use the in-game train station for drop-in joins — no lobby. Mixing local PC hosts with GeForce NOW guests works if latency stays reasonable; assign the cloud player town errands instead of mine combat.

What not to expect in week one

Early Access is a living build. Auto-harvest crops and jump improvements are roadmap items, not guaranteed opening-week features — see roadmap. Report bugs through the in-game Feedback App or official Discord linked from ranchers.game.

After your first week

We update guides and wiki tables as RedPilz ships patches. Bookmark the updates hub and refresh the tier lists once economy data stabilizes. Continue the walkthrough for main story progression beyond intro quests.
